About

No one has time to stop and figure out a poorly-designed interface. A good one should be simple and intuitive. Clear and easy. What I love most is to make interfaces that work well.

Originally trained as a print graphic designer, my career trajectory includes interactive art direction, creative direction, and now user experience. I believe this hybrid approach is an asset, and gives me an excellent grounding in problem-solving across the entire front-end range of interactive development.

I have consistently worked in user interface design and traditional print design for over 25 years, developing specialist capabilities in website and software design, identity and branding, illustration and information design, user interface consulting, etc.

This extensive background in interactive and visual design helps me shape award-winning solutions for clients large and small.
